About the Team

With Monstersongs I combine by background in immersive arts and theatre to bring musicals to the virtual stage.

 

I worked on site-specific shows in which the audience get to explore a space and interact with performers, thus allowing them to create a personal experience.This inspired me to adapt the musical Monstersongs into an immersive VR musical.

 

VR offers the unique opportunity to bring theatrical performances to people’s homes and immerse themselves in the play.Monstersongs serves as a milestone in a long-term goal to establish a VR musical theatre production studio that offers a virtual stage for musicals.

Monstersongs VR is based on the rock musical Monstersongs written by Broadway‘s Lightning Thief composer Rob Rokicki. The art design is inspired by Dave O'Neills orginal graphic novel Monstersongs.
